M.A.D. 3 x Vincent Calabrese

Instead of a traditional dial face, the watch exposes a striking, spinning rotor layout visible from the top, inspired by Vincent Calabrese's spatial, sculptural approach to horology. Time is read laterally along the side of the case via two rotating aluminum cylinders—one for hours and one for minutes—engraved with bold, high-contrast numerals for seamless legibility.

Measuring 40 mm in diameter and 12.7 mm in thickness, the stainless steel case showcases M.A.D.Editions' signature avant-garde design. It features a unique lateral time-display system viewed through a curved sapphire ring around the case band, complemented by a top-mounted exhibition crystal and a sleek 42-hour power-reserve indicator integrated into the case structure.

Powered by a modified automatic caliber featuring an inverted architectural layout, re-engineered specifically to drive the lateral time-display drums. Co-developed as a tribute to independent watchmaking pioneer Vincent Calabrese, the movement is topped by a distinctive, triple-blade winding rotor that spins freely on the front face, delivering a 42-hour power reserve.
